Yes you can cook in these beauties! They have been specially designed to cook in like a normal saucpan with aluminte porcelain, but just be careful of fluctuating heat. i.e.if its hot and you put cold water in it then it will crack! These are the most beautiful saucepans, ever! toile de jouy pink pattern on each one. they look amazing hung and just stare at them all day! I have never seen any others. very unique. reluctant to send by post.
